Dr. Yui-Hsi Wang received his bachelor degree from the Department of Chemistry, National Sun-Yet Sen University and master degree in Biochemistry from National Cheng-Kung University. Yui-Hsi received his PhD degree from the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program under the supervision of Dr. Max D. Cooper at University of Alabama at Birmingham, studying B cell development and disorders. During his post-doctoral training, Yui-Hsi studied dendritic cell and T cell biology in Dr. Yong-Jun Liu’s laboratory at MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas. Prior to joining Sanofi, Yui-Hsi was an Associate Professor in the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, exploring the factors that potentiate the development of asthma and food allergy. He received several awards and funding supports from NIH, Department of Defense, and pharmaceutical companies, and published numerous papers in Science, Nature Immunology, Immunity, and Journal of Experimental Medicine. Currently, he is a group leader in the Immunology and Inflammation Therapeutic Area, Sanofi in Boston to undertake drug discovery projects.
