Dr. Ellen Tsai is a statistical geneticist and bioinformatician at Biogen in the Translational Genome Sciences group. She is leveraging human genetics to identify new drug targets. As one of these efforts, Ellen looks to build a framework for genetic analysis of large biobank data. Prior to this role, Ellen was a Senior Bioinformatician at Partners HealthCare supporting pipelines for clinical exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing, and genotype processing for the Partners Biobank initiative. Ellen received her PhD in Genomics and Computational Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.
